Romantic, silly and totally in love. I had so much fun with these two and watching them be so into each other! To see their personalities transform with their outfits, from timeless elegance to relaxed laughter, reminded me what it feels like to have that love in the beginning. Toya is a wonderful dance instructor at Absolute Dance, which is where I first met her. I loved watching her dance around the stage with her sweet little belly at recital. Just a few weeks later we met up at a beautiful garden to capture some sweet moments with her super fun-loving husband, Jeremy, and the ‘tiny dancer’ in her belly. We had wonderful clouds covering and a cool breeze blowing, which made this 114 degree day much more bearable! Jeremy was the only one who seemed to walk away with any casualties- a few golf ball sized mosquito bites on his face (which thankfully appeared AFTER we finished our session!) I can only imagine the pride Kolten’s parents have for him. He doesn’t just play basketball, he is Captain. Not only does he play football, but is Captain of that as well. Incredibly gifted, incredibly humble, even a little shy. This amazing young man definitely has many gifts and a bright future ahead. Oh, and we can’t leave out Xena, his furry sidekick! For this High School Senior session Beatriz took me around to parts of her little town, Stanton. We found some amazing texture, made great use of the looming clouds and well, her smile is just infectious! She tried to demand a ’serious face’ but as you can see a smile just suits her fun spirited personality! Thank you for the wonderful session Beatriz!!!
New faces and places for this fun engagement session! Veronica and JR have a wedding coming up in June and I am thrilled to be working with the two of them! They are both so refreshing! We wandered around downtown Midland for this session and to challenge myself, as well as offer them something new, most of our locations were first time places for me. The weather was amazing and the sunset seemed to last forever…. Congrats you two, enjoy your sneak peek!
It seems like only yesterday this precious little boy was small enough to fit inside my teacups for his photo sessions! So hard to believe he is a year old already! He has such an engaging smile and those big beautiful eyes just melt your heart! Of course mom had him dressed to the nines, which just added that last touch of perfection! Happy birthday to you, little man!
